The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and strong customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help maintain stock and assist Pro and Garden Center customers, participate in safety training, and use store technology to access product information and process requests.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service and Lowe's customer service policies execution.
• Assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise and answering questions.
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store.
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Use power equipment and store technology safely to move, stage, and load merchandise.
• Maintain in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed.
• Support large order fulfillment while maintaining product quality and accuracy.
• Collect carts and maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in store and parking lot.
• Identify and report safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management/Asset Protection.
• Operate store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, paging system, copiers, CCTV, etc.).
• Communicate stock, special order merchandise, product features, warranty, and Lowe's program information to customers while answering questions and offering project guidance.
• Follow Lowe's safety policies and procedures, including proper use of power equipment, spotters, and safety devices.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Loader-specific responsibilities: support Pro Desk relationships from arrival through order completion; assist loading, staging, and order fulfillment; remain available in Pro loading area; respond quickly to loading requests; build relationships with repeat Pro customers; ensure Pro Standards in parking lot and under Pro canopy; complete power equipment training; load customer vehicles safely; ensure orders loaded accurately.
• Garden Center responsibilities: assist customers and associates with loading; remain available in Garden Center; training for safe loading; load vehicles; support large, high-quality orders; coordinate with Garden Center Supervisor to stage orders for pickup.
