Akumin is a leading provider of outpatient radiology and oncology services, partnering with hospitals nationwide to deliver advanced diagnostic imaging and patient care close to home. Akumin is hiring an X-Ray Technologist at our Royal Palm facility in a PRN capacity.

The X-Ray Technologist uses excellent communication with patients, produces high-quality images, and ensures safety and patient comfort. Candidates should be ARRT certified, hold a state license, and be able to work across

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT (R) registration and state license as applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification (AHA/ARC); ACLS where applicable.
• Ability to work at multiple locations and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic exams as ordered by the physician, and exercise judgment in procedure execution.
• Operate diverse X-ray equipment and ensure high-quality images.
• Communicate with patients and radiologists; explain procedures.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and manage EMR/PACS/DICOM workflows.
• Train new technologists and participate in ongoing education.
