Job summary

Bright Light Medical Imaging is seeking an X-ray Technologist for PRN Saturday coverage at our Melrose Park location. The role requires proficiency in general radiography, with preferred experience in IV placement and contrast administration for CT/advanced imaging.

Strong patient care and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be ARRT-registered, hold Illinois licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, and be a graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program, with

Qualifications

• ARRT registered or equivalent.
• Illinois licensure as Radiologic Technologist.
• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• CPR-BLS certification.
• Experience in outpatient imaging or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Maintain imaging quality and follow protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup.
• IV placement and contrast administration preferred for CT/advanced imaging.
• Maintain patient documentation and records.
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards.
