Job summary

Bright Light Medical Imaging in Melrose Park is seeking an X-ray Technologist (PRN) to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in general radiography and preferably trained in IV placement and contrast administration.

This role supports a fast-paced clinical environment and requires strong patient care, communication, and technical imaging skills. On-site opportunity with every other Saturday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered (Radiography) or equivalent.
• Illinois state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• CPR-BLS Certification.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain proper imaging quality and follow departmental protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup.
• IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging support).
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards.
