Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic images and assist licensed practitioners. The role requires flexibility to cover shifts at multiple sites and respond quickly to coverage requests, with continued adherence to HIPAA and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will maintain high-quality images, operate PACS/DICOM, and demonstrate strong customer service while meeting regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required or active in process.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• State license if applicable and CPR/BLS/AHA or ARC training.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic images as ordered by physician.
• Maintain quality and accuracy of exams and patient safety.
• Operate EMR/PACS/DICOM systems and document procedures.
• Assist licensed practitioner with exams and prepare contrast as needed.
• Travel to multiple locations and cover shifts as needed.
