Akumin is seeking a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist for its Jacksonville, FL facilities. The role involves producing diagnostic images and supporting licensed physicians in exams, with flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic exams as ordered by the physician.
• Demonstrate competency with differing X-ray equipment and communicate with patients and radiologists.
• Maintain high quality images and adhere to HIPAA and privacy standards.
• Train and orient new technologists as needed and complete ongoing education.
• Cover shifts as a per-diem radiologic technologist and respond to coverage requests.
