Job summary

Akumin is hiring a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist in South Florida. You will produce diagnostic radiographs, manage exposure, and assist licensed physicians to complete exams across multiple facilities. Flexibility and prompt response for coverage are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) State license, if applicable
• CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS where applicable
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable
• Ability to work at several locations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills and EMR/PACS/DICOM familiarity

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic images for interpretation.
• Administer contrast and manage radiation exposure per policy.
• Prepare and maintain quality imaging with equipment competency.
• Communicate with patients and radiologists effectively.
• Assist licensed practitioner for diagnostic exams as needed.
• Train new staff and ensure HIPAA compliance.
