Job summary

German Centre Edelweiss Village is seeking a Wellness Nurse – LPN for PRN shifts. You will oversee nursing staff, monitor residents' conditions, and ensure adherence to physician orders and nursing standards. A strong background in long-term care and fluent English are required.

Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on licensure and experience, with variable shifts and PRN scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered MA Licensed Practical Nurse license (LPN).
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day activities, managing nurses and certified nursing assistants to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Taking full responsibility for residents' nursing care, monitoring conditions, following physician orders, and applying recognized nursing standards.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in residents' conditions, initiating or assisting with interventions, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
• Instructing nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with administrative and clinical standards.
