Qualifications

• Must have RVT or Diagnostic Medical Sonography certificate in vascular field.
• BLS certification required.
• 0–2 years of vascular imaging experience preferred.
• Proficient with ultrasound equipment and picture archiving systems (PACS).

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of vascular patients.
• Communicates findings and reports changes to the physician.
• Maintains productivity and prioritizes workload in a fast-paced setting.
• Participates in documentation and prepares reports for reading physician.
• Ensures equipment is clean and functional and maintains sterile technique.
• Assists with patient positioning and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
