Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our PRN urgent care team across multiple Colorado locations. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, provide direct care with prescriptive authority, and educate families on preventive health options.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of urgent care or ER experience, PA-C or NP cert and license in Colorado, and BLS. This role offers flexible PRN scheduling and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies required.
• Unrestricted Colorado license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• PA-C certification through NCCPA required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform assessments; order and interpret diagnostic procedures.
• Provide direct treatment and management with prescriptive authority or referrals.
• Counsel patients and families on preventive care and treatment options.
• Perform preventive health assessments, screenings, and immunizations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
