Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care is seeking a PRN, board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner for the Vidor clinic location in Houston, TX.

The provider will see ages three months and up, work independently, and perform urgent care procedures with outpatient focus.

Qualifications

• PRN schedule: two to four shifts per month.
• Seeing ages 3 months and up.
• Ability to work independently.
• Texas state medical licensure and DEA.
• Board certified.
• Ability to perform first reads on x-rays.
• Proficient in urgent care procedures (I&D, suturing).

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care for acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform pediatric and adult care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Explain treatment plans and discharge instructions.
