Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care in San Antonio, TX is seeking PRN physician assistants or nurse practitioners to join our six East San Antonio clinics. The position requires PRN providers to float within our six sites, including Selma, Seguin, Kitty Hawk, New Braunfels, Converse, Cibolo and Naco.

Candidates must be board certified, hold Texas state licensure and DEA, and be comfortable treating patients aged three months and up.

Qualifications

• Board certified PA or NP required.
• Texas state licensure and DEA registration required.
• Comfortable caring for patients aged three months and up.
• Ability to perform first reads on X-ray images.
• Willingness to float among multiple clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Float among six East San Antonio locations (Selma, Seguin, Kitty Hawk, New Braunfels, Converse, Cibolo, Naco).
• Provide urgent care for pediatric and adult patients with acute illnesses or injuries.
• Perform common urgent care procedures and basic imaging reads as needed.

Job Summary:

CareNow Urgent Care is seeking a PRN board certified physician assistants or nurse practitioners to join our San Antonio, TX market. The position requires PRN providers to float within the six clinic locations in East San Antonio. These locations include Selma, Seguin, Kitty Hawk, New Braunfels, Converse, Cibolo, and Naco.

Qualified Candidates:

• Position requires to pick up a minimum of 2 weekend days per month (Saturday/Sunday)
• Comfortable seeing ages three months and up
• Board certified
• Has a Texas state medical licensure and DEA
• Ability to perform first reads on x-rays
• Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuries to include: pediatric and adult care; I&Ds; suturing, etc.
• Position requires floating among our central and some south locations
