Job summary

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist (PRN) to perform ultrasonic imaging across OB/GYN, abdomen, neurosonology, and peripheral vascular areas. You will gather diagnostic information and assist the Radiologist during biopsies, taking on occasional non-technical radiology duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has ARMS registration, RVT and BLS certifications, and at least two years of ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Formal Radiologic training in an AMA approved school or Ultrasound training.
• Registered ARMS and RVT certification with current BLS.
• 1-year grace period to obtain registry after clinical rotations at Southern Hills.
• Minimum two years clinical Ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasonic imaging in OB/GYN, Abdomen, Neurosonology, or Peripheral Vascular areas.
• Obtain information to aid diagnosis and evaluate fetal development.
• Assist Radiologist during biopsies and handle non-technical radiology duties when available.
