Job summary

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital in Florida is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for PRN shifts. You will perform ultrasound procedures, ensure image quality, and relay results to physicians for interpretation.

Responsibilities include operating the ultrasound equipment, assisting with scheduling and inventory, and taking on-call as needed to provide after-hours coverage. The position requires ARDMS certification and graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program; the facility offers

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program or equivalent education.
• ARDMS registered in physics and one other registry, or ARRT (S) Sonography.
• ARDMS RVT, or ARRT (VS) Vascular Sonography within one year.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for patients requiring Ultrasound procedures and produces diagnostic images.
• Operates ultrasound equipment with appropriate technical factors and standards.
• Relays images and pertinent clinical information to physicians for interpretation.
• Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling; takes on-call as assigned for after-hours coverage.
