Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics as well as cross-sectional and vascular anatomy and Doppler techniques to perform independent procedures to Radiologist standards.
• Must possess patient care and communication skills to effectively deal with patients across all age groups.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with provider orders.
• Verifies patient identity and exam appropriateness and obtains necessary clinical history prior to scanning.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems.
