Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for Lewiston, ME or Bridgton, ME. The role requires you to perform ultrasound exams, position patients and equipment, and ensure image recordings for PACS transfer.

The position offers day or night shifts with a 12-week assignment length. A minimum of one year of ultrasound experience and ARDMS/ARRT certification are required, with BCLS maintained throughout the assignment.

• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region within 90 days of hire and maintain
• 1 year of previous experience required.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills

Overview

Position:Ultrasound Technologist

Location:Lewiston, ME or Bridgton, ME

Department:Ultrasound

Shifts Available:Days or Nights

Pay: up to $2,240–$2,560 gross per week; $56.00 to $64.00 per hour

Assignment Length:12 weeks

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Minimum of one-year experience as a Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital, Radiology/Imaging required.
• 2. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• 3. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain
• 4. 1 year of previous experience required.
• 5. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• 6. Proficient computer skills

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
