Job summary

Henry Community Health seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular and interventional imaging. You will assist radiologists and physicians while adhering to department protocols and safety standards.

Applicants should have an approved Radiologic Technology program with ultrasonography training, ARDMS/ARRT registration, and relevant experience. Indiana certification is preferred and opportunities for on-site training exist.

Qualifications

• Must have an approved Medical Radiologic Technology program with additional formal Ultrasonography training.
• Registered ARDMS or ARRT certification required.
• Indiana Diagnostic Radiation Operator certification preferred.
• Ultrasound certification preferred.
• One year of Ultrasonography experience acceptable in lieu of formal training.
• Two years of hospital Staff Radiological Technologist experience preferred for on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures (abdomen, retroperitoneal, OB/GYN, peripheral vascular Doppler) per physician orders.
• Assist radiologists and physicians as needed.
• Maintain department policies, QA, safety standards.
