Qualifications

• Requires ultrasound training program completion or equivalent
• Current RDMS license is required

• Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Imaging certs may be required

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound diagnostic procedures as requested by physician
• Produces images for ultrasound diagnosis with independent judgment
• Documents test results and maintains hard copy images
• Performs preventive maintenance on ultrasound equipment as per manuals
• Inspects equipment daily and documents needed repairs
• Maintains patient records per hospital policy
• Orders supplies and manages inventory
