Job summary

Sheridan VA Health Care System is seeking an Intermittent Physician to travel to outpatient clinics in Sheridan, Casper, Gillette and Cody, Wyoming, to provide primary care for Veterans. The role is PRN and not to exceed three years, with compensation reflecting full-time equivalence.

The physician will cover four clinics, perform comprehensive assessments, maintain licensure, and participate in education as needed. Travel and flexible scheduling are required to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from LCME/COCA accredited school.
• Full and unrestricted medical licensure in a US state or territory.
• Board certification and CME requirements to maintain credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to Veterans in outpatient clinics.
• Travel to Sheridan, Casper, Gillette and Cody, WY to cover four clinics.
• Maintain board certification and CME requirements.
• Deliver patient-family centered care and professional communication with diverse patients.
• Provide timely, accurate EMR entries and coordinate care across clinics.
