Job summary

PT Solutions in Edison, New Jersey is seeking an entry-level Physical Therapy Aide to support therapists, greet patients, prep treatment rooms, and maintain equipment. This role offers exposure to patient care under a licensed clinician and opportunities to observe PT school activities.

You’ll participate in a collaborative, evidence-based environment with flexible PRN scheduling and year-round employment. PT Solutions supports growth through training, mentorship, and clear advancement paths.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Pay Range

Your Responsibilities as a Physical Therapy Aide

• Greet patients and assist patients to treatment area as directed by therapist or therapist assistant
• Clean treatment room and prepare room for next patient
• Maintain cleanliness of therapeutic equipment
• Answer and direct telephone calls

Qualifications

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Year-Round Employment Required – This position requires consistent, ongoing availability throughout the year. We are unable to accommodate seasonal hires who only work during summer and return for breaks.
• Occasional lifting consistent with patient care of ≥ 50 lbs.
• Occasional carrying consistent with patient care of ≥ 50 lbs
• Occasional pushing consistent with patient care of 0 – 300 lbs
• Frequent lifting and carrying consistent with patient care of 0 – 50 lbs

• PRN; flexible schedule

Compensation

Pay Range: $16/hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
