Job summary

Denver Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. You will conduct individual and group therapy, contribute to treatment planning, and coordinate with families and referral sources to support patient care.

Qualified candidates hold a Master's in Social Work or Counseling, a current state license, and CPR/de-escalation certifications. Expect ongoing documentation and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in a regulated healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent.
• Current clinical or social work license required by state regulations.
• CPR and De-escalation certifications or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
• Active involvement in treatment planning process.
• Provides family session counseling to ensure communication and involvement of family members and support groups.
• Actively communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
• Demonstrates proactive communication with those involved with the patient's treatment.
• Works with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff.
• Completes accurate assessments of patients utilizing clinical skills.
• Completes all documentation thoroughly, timely, and in accordance with hospital standards.
• Demonstrates knowledge of confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
