Job summary

Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare in Staunton, Virginia is seeking a PRN/part-time licensed clinician (LPC or LCSW) to provide individual therapy to adolescent males with complex emotional and behavioral needs. Qualifications

• Must be licensed (LPC, LCSW, etc.) or license eligible in Virginia
• Able to work with boys aged 12-17 with ASD and psychiatric/behavioral needs
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers therapeutic treatment and behavior modification to residents
• Discusses progress with residents and families and coordinating with medical staff
• Consults with psychiatrists and other specialists to adjust treatment plans
• Maintains regular contact with agencies and professionals regarding progress
• Develops discharge planning with residents, families, and placing agencies
• Maintains positive relationships with residents, families, and external partners
• Assess treatment goals, write goal-directed treatment plans, and monitor behaviors
