Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking staff to provide direct patient care in a hospital setting, greet patients and families, take vital signs, and maintain a clean, safe environment. You will assist radiology teams with patient prep and data entry, and perform departmental tasks such as stocking and answering inquiries from clinicians and patients.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and BCLS certification (or ability to obtain within six months).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Patient Care & Support: Greet and assist patients and families, obtain vital signs, help with dressing/undressing, transport or ambulate patients, ensure comfort, and maintain a clean, stocked, and safe environment.
• Assist with Radiologic Procedures & Workflow: Support technologists, nurses, and radiologists with patient preparation, questionnaires, positioning, verifying orders, gathering required pre-procedure information, performing data entry, coordinating patient flow, and adhering to radiation and MRI safety standards.
• Perform Departmental & Communication Tasks: Handle stocking, supply checks, room/equipment cleaning, CREED checklists, errands, and respond to inquiries from clinicians, staff, and patients both in person and by phone.

Additional Information

Schedule: works PRN or as needed, 0-40 hours per week, 11am-11:30pm
