Job summary

Texas Health Frisco is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the Surgery team on a PRN basis. The CST will scrub and prepare for a variety of specialties in a 8-OR facility, including robotic cases.

The role requires prior OR experience and CST credentialing; BCLS is required and only candidates with flexibility for variable shifts will be considered. Join a leading health system committed to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year operating room experience preferred
• CST certification or eligible for credentialing
• BCLS certification required prior to independent patient care

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing peri-operative care for diverse patient populations
• Preoperatively assist RN circulator in formulating plan of care
• Coordinate patient care peri-operatively and maintain professional standards
• Post-operatively assist with instrument and supply handling under supervision
• Help deliver nursing care while minimizing infection risk and patient harm
• Demonstrate competence for age-appropriate patient care across life stages
