Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute in Leawood, KS is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team on a PRN basis. The role involves working under the direction of the RN or Nurse Manager, handling instruments, supplies and equipment during procedures, and maintaining a sterile field.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of operating room experience (orthopedic preferred) and must hold BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of operating room experience (orthopedic preferred).
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Nurse Manager.
• Handle instruments, supplies and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and maintain the sterile field.
• Ensure quality patient care throughout the operative procedure.
