Job summary

Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for full-time, weekday shifts (4x10s) in Leawood, KS. The role supports the surgical team under RN supervision and requires knowledge of orthopedic procedures and a minimum of one year of OR experience, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year operating room experience (orthopedic preferred).
• BLS certification is required.
• Must understand surgical procedures and anticipate the surgeon's needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle instruments, supplies and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team under the direction of the RN/Nurse Manager.
• Maintain the sterile field and ensure readiness for procedures.
• Support pre- and post-operative activities as needed.

We're seeking an experienced Surgical Technologists for full-time WEEKDAYS, (4) 10-hour shifts.

Our Surgical Technologists work under the direction of the Registered Nurse and or the Nurse Manager. They handle the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Must understand surgical procedures and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon. Must have a minimum of 1 year of operating room experience (orthopedic preferred). BLS required.
