Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Completion of surgical scrub training or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather and prepare supplies/equipment for surgical cases.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment according to Surgical Standards.
• Assist the physician with surgical cases under the supervision of the Circulating Registered Nurse.
• Assist Purchasing and OR Director in maintaining adequate level of supplies and instruments.
• Follow Facility safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Demonstrate ongoing education to grow in the profession.
• Operate equipment safely and report unsafe conditions.
