Job summary

Central Utah Surgical Center is seeking a PRN Surgical Tech to assist in the operating room under RN direction. You will scrub, assist the surgeon, and help with room turnover while maintaining asepsis and accurate data in the medical record.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program (preferred), and at least one year OR experience (ambulatory setting preferred). Valid BCLS certification is required at employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
• One year operating room experience preferred, ambulatory setting.
• BCLS certification required at employment, online cert not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scrubbing and assisting the surgeon at the operative field.
• Prepare the O.R. suite, gather supplies, equipment, and instruments.
• Maintain surgical asepsis and turnover OR between cases.
• Prepare procedure room for next use and report shortages to supervisor.
