Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain surgical instrumentation and set up supplies for upcoming surgeries in Sugar Land, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and experience with all types of sterilizers and OR instruments; CRCST or CSPDT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Computer skills required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• Six months of experience preferred; 2–3 years instrument room experience is an asset.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers and operating room instrumentation.
• Organized in setting up instrument trays and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies for surgery cases.
• Ensures proper sterilization of instruments and accurate tray preparation.
• Prepares reports and keeps necessary records for traceability.
