Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation in Salina, Kansas is seeking a PRN Speech Therapist/SLP to treat residents and short-term patients at our Smoky Hill location. This in-house therapy team provides skilled services under physician orders.

The role requires Kansas licensure for SLP, strong communication, organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to work with diverse staff. Weekdays and weekends, with a background in geriatric rehab preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Kansas license/certification for SLP.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Organizational and analytical skills required.
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers.
• Demonstrates time management and organization.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Successful completion of hiring process/background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services in accordance with physician’s orders and accepted professional practices.
• Develops an overall plan of care with treatment, goals, and frequency.
• Performs skilled treatments according to the plan of care.
• Documents observations and patient progress within required timeframes.
• Completes documentation timely and in accordance with state/federal regulations.
• Completes billing for provided services in accordance with regulations.
• Maintains rehab gym equipment and treatment area safely and with infection control.
