Job summary

North Kansas City Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 48-bed Acute Rehab Unit. This PRN Days role offers a dynamic team, growth opportunities, and meaningful patient care in a fast-paced rehab environment.

Requirements include a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, current SLP license with ASHA certification, and CPR certification. Acute or rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current SLP license and ASHA certification required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
