Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation in College Station, TX is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents and short-term patients at Accel at College Station.

You will provide therapy per physician orders, develop goals and a plan of care, document patient response, and ensure timely billing and compliant documentation.

This role supports a large interdisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility with a focus on geriatric rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas license/certification for PT.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services in accordance with physician’s orders and accepted professional practices.
• Develop an overall therapy plan of care to include treatment and goals, planned duration, and discharge plan.
• Therapists perform skilled treatments according to the plan of care.
• Documents observations and patient progress within required timeframes.
• Completes all documentation timely and in accordance with state and federal regulations and policies/guidelines.
• Completes all billing required on the date of the provided skilled services, and in accordance with regulations.
• Assist with maintaining rehab gym equipment and treatment area with infection prevention.
