Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation is seeking PRN Speech Therapists/CCC-SLPs to treat residents at our Deerbrook facility in Humble, Texas. Positions are on-site and require the Texas CCC-SLP license. Therapists will develop plans of care, document progress, and coordinate with the rehab team.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, organizational, and clinical judgment skills, plus ability to manage time effectively in a geriatric rehabilitation setting. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas license/certification: CCC-SLP.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to function in multi-faceted systems and interact with staff and customers.
• Demonstrates time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services per physician orders and standards of practice.
• Develop an overall plan of care with goals and frequency.
• Document patient progress and response to therapy within required timeframes.
• Complete billing and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain rehab gym equipment and treatment area, ensuring infection control.
