Job summary

CHI St. Joseph Health Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health, is hiring a Speech Pathologist for PRN positions in Bryan, Texas. You will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized speech and language therapy for patients across our inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will work with a supportive team and use milestones to track progress. Successful candidates hold current licensure or certification, CCC, CPR, and preferably a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification for Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
