Job summary

CHI St. Joseph Health Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health, seeks a Speech Pathologist for PRN assignments to support patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.

You will evaluate and tailor treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a leading inpatient rehabilitation network. The role emphasizes delivering empathetic care, tracking outcomes, and contributing to patient victories within a supportive Encompass Health

Qualifications

• Licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
