Job summary

CHI St. Joseph Health Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health, seeks a Speech Pathologist for PRN assignments to support patient-centered care in our rehabilitation setting.

You will evaluate, treat, and track progress for patients with communication challenges, in a supportive, tech-enabled environment. Qualified candidates have CCC and state licensure, CPR within 30 days of hire, and a Master's (or Bachelors with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
