Job summary

Banner Health in Casper, Wyoming is seeking a PRN Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary Rehab team. You will assess, develop, and implement treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders.

The schedule includes one weekend per month on-call with weekday coverage as needed; weekday shifts are 8:00am-4:30pm and on-call Saturdays/Sundays 8:00am-4:00pm. Master’s degree and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
• Current licensure in the state of practice.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or documented acceptance in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Strong interpersonal communication and human relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients’ functional abilities and determines intervention goals.
• Implements individualized treatment plans considering patient needs.
• Educates patients and families to promote participation and home programs.
• Documents patient treatment per standards and regulations.
• Provides training to staff and students.
• Follows plan of care and communicates with supervisor on unusual cases.
