Banner Health in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a PRN Speech Pathologist to join Banner Staffing Services for a day shift. The role supports screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation of patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders.

The position requires a Master's in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, CCC-SLP or CFY acceptance, BLS, and a proactive, collaborative approach with the care team. Arizona Fingerprint clearance is also required.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
• Current licensure in the state of practice.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence or documented acceptance in Clinical Fellowship Year.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Strong interpersonal communications and human relation skills.
• Proficiency with computer software used in automated patient care environment.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with speech and language disorders.
• Plan and carry out specialized treatment programs and document care.
• Maintain data regarding patient care and progress.
• Educate patients, families, and other care providers.
• Provide training to other staff and students.
• Follow plan of care and exercise independent judgment when needed.
