Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join Banner Staffing Services in Mesa, AZ. The role supports day shifts, with self-scheduling Sunday-Saturday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, and provides evaluation, treatment planning, and patient care under physician referral and department guidelines.

You'll collaborate with patients and families, document progress per guidelines, and participate in a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an APTA accredited school of Physical Therapy or equivalent.
• Must possess a current Physical Therapy license within the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and set goals with the care team.
• Implement and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
• Document progress and maintain compliance with practice guidelines and timelines.
• Communicate evaluation results and patient progress to physicians and care teams.
• Adjust assignments based on caseload, scheduling, and staffing needs.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to PTA, ATC, therapy tech, and students as appropriate.
• Attend required meetings and participate in process improvement activities.
• Interact with staff at multiple levels and coordinate with external contacts as needed.
