Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in the state of practice.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence or CFY documented acceptance.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and healthcare team.
• Strong interpersonal communication and human relation skills.
• Proficiency with computer software in patient care settings.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with speech and language disorders.
• Plan and carry out specialized treatment programs and document care.
• Maintain data regarding patient care and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families; provide home programs.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, and students as needed.
• Follow plan of care and discuss unusual cases with supervisor.
