What you will do in this role:

  • Help patients recover and improve by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
  • Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges daily
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulations and standards
  • Instruct family or nursing staff in follow-up programs
  • Maintain equipment and work area safely and cleanly
  • Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, compliance standards, professional standards, and laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited master’s program in Speech Language Pathology or meeting ASHA certification requirements
  • Meet education and experience requirements for ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology
  • At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations
  • Current, unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
