REHAB WITHOUT WALLS IS GROWING IN HOUSTON, TX!

• Position: Speech Language Pathologist- Adult Neuro
• Type: Flexible, PRN
• Locations: Houston, Downtown, Med Center, Sugarland

Who we are looking for:

• An experienced SLP, enthusiastic about providing functional rehabilitation in real-life settings.
• Ready to treat patients in environments like kitchens, grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor activities, and workplaces.
• Thrives in autonomous settings and values collaboration with a team of dynamic therapists.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Re-assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing and family meetings.
• Conduct discharge evaluations, recommend safety measures, and provide resources.
• Communicate patient's progress to the treatment team, physicians, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

What you will need:

• Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid SLP license in practicing state(s).
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience as an SLP.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries (preferred).
• Effective communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with some tasks requiring up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to perform tasks involving fine motor skills, standing, walking, and other physical activities.
• Additional health and physical requirements as per location policies.
