Job summary

Palm Springs Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess and treat residents in a warm, family-like setting in California, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

You will screen and evaluate residents, develop and implement plans of care, administer and interpret hearing and speech tests, support swallowing techniques, and maintain confidentiality and compliance. This PRN/On-Call role includes a sign-on bonus and PTO/referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
