Job summary
River Bend Nursing and Rehab in Evansville, IN is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide rehabilitation services to residents in our skilled nursing facility. Qualifications
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Indiana.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals as appropriate.
- Evaluate residents and collect data for treatment planning.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with goals.
- Provide speech-language interventions based on residents' needs.
- Instruct residents, families, and staff to promote carryover of techniques.
- Monitor progress and modify treatment as needed.
- Maintain documentation per standards.
- Collaborate with nursing and other interdisciplinary team members.
