Job summary

North Kansas City Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join Lifepoint Rehabilitation on a PRN Days schedule. You will assess speech, language and swallowing abilities and develop treatment plans to support patient goals.

Qualified candidates hold a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, current SLP license with ASHA certification, and CPR certification. Acute or rehab setting experience is preferred; strong teamwork and documentation skills are essential.

• Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

More about our team:North Kansas City Hospital is48-bed Acute Rehab Unit (ARU) located in NKC Health Main Hospital Building. Our Unit is a very fast paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow! We have an amazing team with over 25 FT therapists!
