Job summary

Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens, TN is seeking a Speech Therapist PRN in the Rehabilitation Department. The role supports patient assessments, development of care plans, education for patients and families, and discharge planning.

The position requires a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and a Tennessee license (or provisional with 12 months to full licensure). A Basic Life Support certification is also required at hire.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Current Tennessee Speech Therapist license or provisional with 12 months to full licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition.
• Designs and implements a plan of care involving patient and family.
• Educates patients and families on treatment plans and progress.
• Plans and assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
