Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY).
• Licensed as an SLP in MD, DC or VA as required for the location.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluations, documents results, and explains findings to patient and family.
• Implements treatment plans and adjusts as patient condition changes.
• Completes discharge planning and accurate documentation of care.
• Maintains scheduling, productivity, and professional conduct.
• Mentors students and supports orientation of new staff.

Education

Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY)

Licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist in MD/DC/VA

American Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
