The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CFY completion, and MD/DC/VA licensure, with ASHA CCC.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Maryland, District of Columbia, or Virginia licensure as required for location.
• American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation services, including review of historical information and formal assessments.
• Explains findings and treatment plans to patient and family and involves them in goal setting.
• Implements treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient needs.
• Documents and charges for patient care accurately and timely.
• Assists with discharge planning and follow-up care and mentors students and staff.
