Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our clinical team. The role focuses on assessing speech, language and swallowing, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and families about therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board or ASHA-certified
• Experience working in acute or rehab setting
• Current and unrestricted Florida Speech Language Pathologist license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
