HealthPro Heritage in New City, NY is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a PRN opportunity at our assisted living community. We offer therapy services Monday through Friday with no evenings or weekends, providing you a flexible schedule while delivering meaningful care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
• Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
